Stretch Image
Stretch, rotate and register an image in ArcView
Produces a new tiff image file that results from a first order polynomial transformation on an existing tiff image file.
Pull the image into a view.
Identify points on the image and matching points on the map.
Click a button to compute the best first order polynomial transformation using the least squares fit method.
The residual error for each point is provided. The choice of points can be manipulated.
Accept the transformation and the new image file is produced and positioned in ArcView.
A first order polynomial transformation will stretch and rotate an image.
