Allows you to create and use tools to spatially add tile themes with the correct legend and definition. Feature, image and CAD themes may be used.

Intended for use where data of the same type is stored in mapsheets (or tiles).
Adds a tool menu to the View GUI containing tools for automatically adding themes by location.
Each tool is defined for a specific type of theme (ie. contours, wetlands, streams, roads, etc).
When the user clicks a point on the screen, the mapsheet at that location is added, the correct legend is loaded, the appropriate definition is applied, and the theme is turned on.
Existing map indexes can be used (ArcView or ArcInfo format), or new ones created quickly.
Designed with networked, multi-user environment in mind.
No training required for end users who know how to click inside a view; minimal training for those who don't.
Mapsheet Manager control dialog can be hidden from would-be tweakers.
Works with shapefiles, coverages, image themes, and CAD themes.
Allows you to avoid waiting for unwanted image catalog tiles to draw by just adding the tiles you need.
Example: To add a tile without Mapsheet Manager: 1) Look up what mapsheet(s) are desired; 2) Click Add Theme; 3) Browse to the location of the file and add it; 4) Load or build the appropriate legend; 5) Set the correct definition; 6) Turn the theme on.
With the Mapsheet Manager: 1) Select the appropriate tool; and 2) Click where you want the theme added.
