Determine the front azimuth, back azimuth and distance of the line.
- A button on the View tool bar evokes Azimuth.
- Draw a line in a view.
- The front azimuth, back azimuth and distance of the line will appear at the bottom of the ArcView window.
- When you have viewed the azimuth, the lines will disappear so as not to clutter up the screen.
- However, if you prefer the lines to be left on the screen, you can hold the shift key down as you enter the line.

What Others Thought
The extension is very usefull for us. I was looking to find it all over and I was very happy to get it free on your site. Thanks.

Mircea Rau, Planner, UBC Research Forest As we are a mountain-region, our foresters have to work frequently with cable-Loggers. The instrument "Azimuth" is very useful for planning such installations, specially for persons who are no "high-performence-ArcView-users". Thanks!
