Arc4You View Frames

Optimize the links between view frames in layouts and view documents in your project (link the contents but keep their extent unchanged).

This is an extension to ESRI ArcView 3.x to optimize the links between view frames in layouts and view documents in your project:

	Freeze	Creates a partial link between frame and view (only the themes are linked). You can still edit the frames content in the view but its extent stays unchanged.
	Lock	The link between frame and view is broken. Content and extent of the frame are locked against modifications. But the size of the project file increases a lot.
	Relink	The *Live Link* between frame and original view is re-established (or a new view document is created). But the extent of the frame changes with the view.
	Update	The contents of locked or frozen frames are updated (themes and graphics are reloaded from the view). The extent of the frames stays unchanged though.
	Clean	Invisible themes are removed from locked view frames in order to reduce the size of the project file.

Frozen frames can only be created with Arc4You View Frames:

They are the perfect tradeoff between locked and linked frames.

They can be edited, keep their extent and do not increase the size of the project file.
