Annotations are stored in AutoCad DXF files , that are small and can be used as themes:
Annotations can be created from AutoCad Layers, ARC/INFO Coverages, graphics etc.
Colors and fonts are stored in a legend file (annotations display exactly as the originals).
The same annotation theme can be used in multiple views or projects.
Change the appearance of all similar annotations just by editing the legend.
Just move annotation themes in the table of contents to change their priority.
Annotations keep your project files small and fast (graphic labels don't).
What's new in version 1.1:
DXF files are now fully AutoCAD compatible.
You can use the pointer tool to edit, add, delete, copy or move annotations.
You can choose the alignement of annotations and labels when you modify them.
You can use numeric functions to modify the label text (e.g. increase numbers).
The bounding box of graphics is repaired (error in ArcView at copying graphics).
Add annotation themes to views easily (the annotation layer is chosen automatically).
